This kit includes the 2, 4, 6, and 8" wire heads. You know you need them all. Set includes a Carabiner for keeping them all with you in the field.
Sharp - Small gauge is great if sharpness is your primary concern
Firm - is for those who are looking for a really stiff wire with the longest life.
Conor Crickmore - "The Pacifist Master Kit is now the go-to tool for cultivating at Neversink Farm."
Zipper requires a long wooden handle that can be purchased from us or you can locate one locally.
The Zipper is the most versatile garden and small farm tool. It plants paperpots, dense plugs, seeds, bulbs, onion starts, corms, and much more. I also use it to cultivate rows of densely planted vegetables like carrots, as it throws soil on top of emerging weeds. The zipper also works great for side-dressing fertilizer.
I use the zipper all over Neversink Farm.
Colinear Hoe Kit
Saves more than $9 when purchased as a kit
This includes both the wide 6 3/4" and Narrow 3.75" Colinear Hoe. Bonus carabiner included for carrying both into the field
Conor Crickmore -"I think the colinear hoes, narrow and wide, work best as a set. I just hated having to carry both around. The mutineer solves this"
Mutineer required for use and is not included.
The user stands straight, using a thumbs-up grip, while a sharp, thin blade rides flat and collinear with the soil surface, slicing off weeds without throwing soil onto nearby seedlings. Ergonomic design makes weeding surprisingly enjoyable. Especially effective in and around low-lying crops such as head lettuce.
